
Rahul Kothari is a Founder and Managing Partner of Ironview Capital Management and heads the firm’s alternative investment practice. He joined the firm via the Carlyle Group where he served as a Vice President in the US Buyouts Group and most recently as the Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Planning for one of Carlyle’s largest portfolio companies.
Experience
Prior to Carlyle, Rahul held various roles in late-stage private equity at Aurora Capital Group, investment banking at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, and consulting at Bain & Company. He also held leadership positions at various entrepreneurial ventures and has sat on the corporate boards of Elysium Robotics, Kuhlman Electric Corporation, Atlas Tube, the Trac Group and SmartMotion Technologies.

Personal Life
Outside of the office, Rahul enjoys time with his wife and four kids. They feel strongly about giving back to the community and have volunteered for service projects spanning six continents. Rahul has also served on the boards of Please Touch Museum, the Miami Children’s Museum, the Children’s Museum of the Arts in New York and CityScience. He currently serves on the boards of the Collective Success Network, the Philly Service Award and the Positivity Project.
